The first Italian summer school of higher education in collaboration with YAGP arrives in Bucharest with the first edition of International Summer School Romania

WHAT IS IT?

An intensive master class in classical and contemporary dance that aims to give young dancers the opportunity to deepen their study of dance and perfect their technique as well as the extraordinary opportunity to be auditioned by the directors of the most important Academies in Europe.

 

TO WHOM IT IS ADDRESSED

This course is aimed at students who have been studying dance for at least 2 years and between the ages of 9 and 19, and aims to give them the opportunity to work with internationally renowned directors of major Academies.

 

LESSONS

Students participating in the course will have the opportunity to take part in professional classes through an intensive program of:
– Classical Technique
– Technique of tips
– Two-step technique
– Men’s technique
– Character technique
– Repertoire female and male variations
– Contemporary Dance
– Choreography workshop in preparation for the gala
– Private coaching with directors

 

OPPORTUNITIES

The course also includes auditions through which students can be selected and gain access to prestigious academies and scholarships.
Exclusively, there will be an opportunity for students to be selected by Founders and Directors Larissa and Gennadi Saveliev for direct access to the most important YGP and YAGP competition events in the world.

 

DANCE GRAND GALA

The International Summer School will culminate with a gala on Sept. 7, 2024, during which world-renowned dancers will perform a high-level show.
During the performance, students will perform a choreography created for them during the week. Scholarships and awards will be presented at the end of the evening.

 

APPLICATION

The cost of the summer school is €700.

If you received a scholarship, follow the instructions for payment: the discount should be applied not to the deposit amount (150 euros) but to the course fee. To the final sum, an additional 10 euros must be added for payment and bank transfer fees by credit card.

It will be possible to send questions and register until places are exhausted (the event is limited in number, therefore it will be possible to register until the pre-established number of participants is reached). Application procedure:
– Submit application via online form attaching photos
– Please wait for acknowledgement via email
– Complete online registration by attaching the receipt proving payment of the registration fee deposit
– Pay the balance of the fee within the next 30 days
To help pupils unaccompanied by their parents, each teacher or person in charge of a group of at least 15 pupils will have free board and lodging from the day of arrival to the day of the end of the course.
*No refund requests are accepted for any reason. The registration fee will be refunded only in case of cancellation of the event. The management reserves the right to make changes to the programme.

TEACHERS
